Hi, I am Jan Van Caneghem

I am the founder of WAAI. I have been fascinated by design since the age of nine. My parents were building a new house back then, and I was intrigued by the design process. I became the assistant of the architect, although her view on things might have been different :-)Design and creativity, in general, have never left my mind. The older and more experienced I get, the stronger I believe that design is a universal language. Design is the primary language that connects us and lets us solve problems as a team.I wrote ‘The Book That Helps You Become the EPIC Designer of Our Tomorrows’ about this.In this book, I figured out, after Herbert Simon had first explored the decision-making model design, what the components of such a decision-making model are.
